Frequently asked questions

How does the baseline assessment and treatment plan work?

Before starting, we conduct a comprehensive questionnaire and baseline assessment to evaluate your mental health, metabolic health, fitness level, and spiritual well-being. Based on your results, we create a customized treatment plan with goal reviews and individualized appointments to track progress.

Do you accept insurance for consultations?

Restart4Wellbeing is a private-pay practice, and we do not accept insurance for consultations. However, we can provide a detailed invoice (superbill) that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement, depending on your coverage. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to understand your out-of-network benefits.

Do I need to be physically fit to join the program?

No! Our program is tailored to all fitness levels. Lisa provides personalized fitness guidance, helping you start where you are and progress at your own pace with a mix of strength training, mobility work, and aerobic conditioning.

Do I have to follow a strict diet?

Not at all! Dr. Lal’s approach to obesity medicine and weight management is about sustainable lifestyle changes, not restrictive dieting. We help you develop a balanced, mindful relationship with food that fits your health goals and long-term success.

How does spirituality fit into the program?

Spiritual well-being is not about religion—it’s about inner peace, self-awareness, and mindfulness. Lisa provides meditation, breathwork, and emotional resilience coaching to help you feel more balanced and centered in your daily life.

What type of appointments will I have?

During the Intensive Phase, you will meet with:

  • Dr. Lal (Mind & Body) for up to 1 hour per week for mental health, weight management, and behavioral coaching.

  • Lisa (Fitness & Spirit) for up to 1 hour per week for fitness, mobility, strength training, and spiritual guidance.

  • Appointments will be personalized to your needs and adjusted as you move through the program.

How long does the program last?

The length of your journey depends on your individual goals and progress. Some clients move through the phases in a few months, while others prefer long-term support. The goal is to build lasting habits that support a lifetime of well-being.

Can I do this program virtually or do I need to come in person?

We offer both in-person and virtual sessions, making the program accessible no matter where you are.
